Elsa Benitez started modeling after successfully winning a model search contest in Costa Rica in the year 1995. She had dreams of modeling since she was a small child, with many of her role models being models of the time.

With the model search contest giving her a name in the industry, modeling contacts started to pour in. Starting in her home country of Mexico, she quickly became in demand in both Europe and The United States. By 1996 Benitez had appeared in Vogue Italy three times and her career had just stated!

     In 1998, Elsa Benitez was given feature exposure on supermodels-online.com, increasing her talent status. She had finally gained her childhood dream of being a supermodel.

     2001 brought her into many homes in the world as the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition Cover Model. Following this up, she became the cover model for: Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan, and Marie Clair. These are just to name a few.

     Taking her Latin heritage with her, she has been a great addition to with great world of modeling. In her modeling career thus far she has already been placed on the cover of most fashion magazines and has walked the runway of many of the top fashion designers of the industry
