The denim shirt is popping up in so many variations this season -- from utility tunics to lightweight chambray tops -- but I like Banana Republic's (Buy Direct) literal interpretation of the denim shirt. The lived-in feel and authentic features like a button-front and patch pockets give it a stolen-from-the-boys-closet feel. Twice a year buyers, journalists, stylists and celebrities descend on New York to attend Fashion Week. In just a few days, I'll be attending the Fall 2010 shows to see what collections designers will be showing for that season. My favorite thing about Fashion Week is, of course, the clothes, but meeting interesting people runs a close second.
